I have loved the Narnia books, by C.S. Lewis, ever since I first read them as a kid.  They have stood the test of time and I still love them as an adult who has reread them multiple times.  Although I don't always like movie adaptations of books, but I really enjoyed the first two "Chronicles of Narnia" films.  They stayed true to the books, yet were beautifully adapted to film.
